Carrington Kelso has joined forces with producer, artist, and female powerhouse, Coruja, to create an intimate duet that has been likened to that of Jp Saxe and Julia Michaels', "If the World Was Ending". "Worlds Apart" is a musical photograph that immortalizes the isolation many of us felt during 2020.

I wrote “Worlds Apart“In March 2020 after just quitting my job to pursue music full time. I felt underappreciated, misunderstood, and invisible. I knew that there was something bigger waiting for me and I had no choice but to chase it; little did I know that we would be hit by a global panini press just DAYS after. When the pandemic hit, it felt like the entire world slowed down. I was feeling extremely lost and so I wrote about it. I think artists have a responsibility to sing about the times we live in. It is a way for us to create snapshots of the past for future generations; that is what “Worlds Apart“ is.

Fast forward to the end of 2020, my good friend, Leah Puffenberger (aka Coruja), contacted me about collaborating on a cover of “If the World Was Ending“. I adore that song and was completely down, but I told her I had a song in a similar vein that might be dope to bring to life. I sent her an acoustic demo of “Worlds Apart“ and the rest is history.

Once the song was recorded it was time to bring it to life. Coruja and I loved the track too much to not create a visual for it, and for that, we needed a team. We have to send so much light and love to all the people who helped bring this vision to life! We ABSOLUTELY could not have done this alone:
